No matter how we choose to live our lives.....be it "balls to the walls" or reserved and laid back..... it is neccesary for us to maintain a Balance.
Even the most extreme of atheletes needs time to rest and recover. Even the most hedonistic of us needs to get up and take constructive action. If you don't then things start to fall apart. Injuries stack up, bills don't get paid and finally you are forced to do what you should have done in the beginning....restore some semblance of Balance.
Though its has taken a couple of years I came to understand that I was missing my own Balance. Its taken that time to learn to see it and to identify what was wrong. Now its all about restoring what was lost.
A journey of a thousand miles begins with but one step.
It's nice to see you actively seeking to restore your Balance once again. If I may be so bold, you've come a long way ... and it's really good to have you back. I missed you more than you'll ever probably realize. We all did.
Balls to the walls ... hmmm ... I'm thinking that's me. I learned from the best. ;) And yes, still working on my own semblance of Balance as well. *sheepish*
Life is a journey, not a destination.
